Tomorrow...

Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing he'd say "If I were any better, I would be twins!" He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Michael was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Michael and asked him, "I don't get it! You can't be a positive personall of the time. How do you do it?" Michael replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood. I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life. "Yeah, right, it's not that easy," I protested. "Yes, it is," Michael said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live life."

I reflected on what Michael said. Soon thereafter, I left the TowerIndustry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it. Several years later, I heard that Michael was involved in a serious accident, falling some 60 feet from a communications tower. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Michael was released from the hospital with rods placed in his back. I saw Michael about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied. "If I were any better, I'd be twins. Wanna see my scars?" I declined to see his wounds, but I did ask him what had gone through his mind as the accident took place. "The first thing that went through my mind was the well-being of my soon to be born daughter, " Michael replied. "Then, as I lay on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or I could choose to die. I chose to live." "Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked. Michael continued, "...the paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to befine. But when they wheeled me into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read "he's a dead man. I knew I needed to take action." "What did you do?" I asked. "Well there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me," said Michael. "She asked if I was allergic toanything. "Yes, I replied." The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, "Gravity."

Over their laughter, I told them, "I am choosing to live. Operate on meas if I am alive, not dead."

Michael lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully. Attitude, after all, is everything. "Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

I will

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely life time
If you want me to I will

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same
Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart
And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
And you know I will
I will.....
I guess I'm happy when I don't want to be anywhere else but where I am.

DEAL or NO DEAL!

Just today, I got a chance to contemplate about how marriage really works and was there really a pointing system in this, battle?

One day, a friend of mine Liza called me and told me about her problem with her husband. They were arguing about money. Her husband was hurt by the fact that Liza’s mom prioritizes other people, preparing foods for others, giving them so much while Liza has nothing prepared to eat. Doug, Liza’s husband audited their expenditures since the revolving money in the house comes from them. Doug checked the budget and expenses and found out that they just only have enough to keep the family running. Doug, got mad of Liza because all he’s just after is for Liza’s part. Letting her mom love her more than other people. And not to defend them with their wrong system. ~ Eventually, after not talking with each other for hours. Liza decided to make up with Doug just for peace, and asked for forgiveness. That night, Liza thought of what happen that day and asked herself, why do I always have to say sorry all the time? Why do I always make the first move in most of our fights? Would life be more better if I were single?

I’ve come to boil at one point. Marriage. Most people say that, two heads are better than one. Some people are blessed with somebody to walk with their lives, while others are blessed singles. Each of these two has their own pros and cons. The benefits of a married person are:
1. They have somebody to lean on in times of pain, of trouble or sadness. And financials as well.
2. They have somebody to share moments with.
3. When a person falls, he still has someone standing still and someone to bring her up again. *Two heads are better than one.

While the consequences of being married are:
1. They will have to adjust and compromise with each other.
2. They have to understand each other.
3. One has to consider the decision of the other.

Seeing few of these matters about how marriage should work is easy. But it’s not that. It is seeing marriage beyond it. The advantage of a single person mostly falls, opposite of the consequences of the married person.
1. He is not obliged to adjust or compromise with anybody. He can choose.
2. He doesn’t really need to understand all the time.
He can walk away if he wants.
3. He has more options how to keep things on his way.

And of course the disadvantages of being single are:
1. He has no permanent person to keep with his precious moments.
2. All holidays and heart warming days have tendencies to spend alone.
3. Growing old alone.
But again, boiling down to a point, life is not a matter of being married or being single forever. For me, life is all about choosing to be happy. Whether you are single or married, the peace of your soul lies on your hands, whether giving up or giving in would make you happy.

For Liza, she doesn’t have to count how many sorry she had gave in for their marriage. If you chose to marry someone, you chose to accept everything about that person. Accepting all his flaws and indifferences (willingness to wait and contribute change). Each person is not perfect. Everyone has their positive side and negative side no matter what society you belong. Nobody is created perfect. What makes a person perfect is when he becomes accepted and loved by somebody or any one, a friend, a stranger, and even your fair weather friends.

Marriage is not about counting how many you have give in but counting how much more you can give in. Besides, life just keeps running up and down. There was no rain in a whole year round but there were also sunshine days. When you chose to marry someone on that very first day, you didn’t enter into a warzone, counting how many ammos you have fire out.

You entered a covenant where bending a little is important, patience and understanding are your ammos.

Great Ways to say I Love You

The best ways to say "I love you" are usually in simple, everyday, seemingly unimportant ways. Leo Buscaglia, who wrote and taught about love, said "Words and deeds that say 'You enrich my life' go on forever."

Here are some suggestions to get your own creative juices flowing so that your love for one another will go on forever.

* Make sure you say "I Love You" at least once each day to your spouse.
* Write unexpected love notes.
* Give your mate an unexpected hug, a surprisingly romantic kiss, or a teasing tickle often.
* Be spontaneous and surprising with winking at each other, whisking your spouse away for an unexpected weekend alone, star-gazing together, taking a walk in the rain with one another.
* Share memories by looking at old photographs and talking about memories you share together.

Happiness

Ever since I got married, my days already ran like horses!
They ran like they have never ran so fast before.
How can I stop the days from running to weekends,
Weeks to months, and months to years...
T'was only that December 2002 when I got married,
and it’’s been 4 long wonderful years already.
Stop! Come April 14, we’’ll be celebrating
our 5th civil wedding anniversary already.
Well yea… I guess that’s our life together.
No matter how much you try to stop the days from running,
it will still run the same way
and you’’ll still be enjoying it the same way you did..

Love and happiness is all that matters
so, go and keep running... till your legs find its rest..

BER Months... agen???!

its ber month again!
again... again... again and again!!!
isnt there anytime in the year
where i will get bored waiting for the ber months!!!?
they always come much earlier as expected
in fact... para silang collector!
they just arrived yesterday...
now they are here again!

aren't there any longer times in a day???
longer days in a week and more days in a month????!!!
huh?! is there any possibility we can change that?!!!
add more days in a week??
like 7 working days and 3 days for weekends
that is compose of 10 days a weeks!!!!
that will be much fun!!!!
there will be MONDAY! TUESDAY! WEDNESDAY!
THURSDAY! BORODAY! MERIDAY! FRIDAY! STERDAY! FUNDAY! SUNDAY!!!!!!!!
Yeeeheeeeeeeey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That means I still have more daysss to go over my work
and I won't be worrying about ber months and yearendss ANYMORESSSS! .

Someday, I will run as a Senator and I will
make this a part... of this stchufid republic! =.]

PERHAPS LOVE (John Denver)

Perhaps love is like a resting place,
a shelter from the storm It exists to give you comfort,
it is there to keep you warm
And in those times of trouble when you are most alone
The memory of love will bring you home

Perhaps love is like a window, perhaps an open door
It invites you to come closer,it wants to show you more
And even if you lose yourself and don't know what to do
The memory of love will see you through

Love to some is like a cloud,

to some as strong as steel
For some a way of living,
for some a way to feel
And some say love is holding on and some say letting go
And some say love is everything, and some say they don't know

Perhaps love is like the ocean, full of conflict, full of pain
Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains
If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true
My memories of love will be of you

Some say love is holding on and some say letting go
Some say love is everything and some say they don't know

Perhaps love is like the mountains, full og conflict, full of change
Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains
If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true
My memories of love will be of you

Go the distance

I have often dreamed
of a far off place, where a heros welcome
would be waiting for me. where the crowds would cheer,
when they see my face, and a voice keeps saying
this is where i'm meant to be

I'll be there someday,
i can go the distance.
i will find my way if i can be strong.
i know every mile would be worth my while,
when i go the distance,
i'll be right where i belong.

Down an unknown road to embrace my fate,
though that road may wander,
it will lead me to you.
and a thousand years would be worth the wait.
it might take a lifetime
but somehow i'll see it through

And i won't look back,
i can go the distance,
and i'll stay on track,
no i won't accept defeat,
it's an uphill slope,
but i won't loose hope,

'till i go the distance and my journey is complete,

oh yeah.
But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part,
for a heros strength is measured by his heart,
ohh... Like a shooting star,
i will go the distance,
i will search the world,
i will face it's harms,
i don't care how far,
i can go the distance, '
till i find my heros welcome waiting in your arms.
I will search the world,
i will face its harms 'till i find my heros welcome waiting in your arms.
